Today (23 Feb 2025), the Meteorological Department reported that a new high-pressure area or moderate to quite strong cold air mass from China has spread down to northern Vietnam. It is expected to spread down to cover the northeastern region and the South China Sea today (23 Feb), resulting in southern and southeasterly winds bringing moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to cover northern Thailand.
